Cookie Policy
How we use cookies on our website
We use cookies on our website to improve performance and enhance the user experience. This policy explains how we do this.
Cookies are small text files that a website can place on your computer or mobile device when you visit a site or page for the first time. The cookie helps the website, or another website, to recognise your device the next time you visit.
There are many functions that cookies perform. For example, they help us remember your username and preferences, analyse how well our website is performing, or allow us to recommend content we think is most relevant to you.
Some cookies contain personal information, but most cookies don't collect information that identifies you and instead collect more general information, such as how users access and use our websites or a user's general location.
We use cookies for several purposes:
1. Essential cookies
Some cookies are essential to the operation of our website. For example, some cookies allow us to identify registered users and ensure that they can access secure pages. If a registered user chooses to disable these cookies, the user will not be able to access these pages.
2. Performance / analytics cookies
We use other cookies to analyse how our visitors use our websites and to monitor website performance. For example, we use performance cookies to track which pages are most popular and how people navigate our site. We use Google Analytics to help with this.
3. Functionality cookies
We may use functionality cookies to allow us to remember your preferences. For example, currency or language preferences, or what you have in your shopping basket or wish list, where available. Also if you want to comment on our blog.
Can a website user block cookies?
Yes, but we do not recommend this as cookies help you get the most out of our website.
If you wish to disable cookies, you can do so under 'Preferences' in the banner that appears on your first visit. If this is no longer visible, perhaps because you initially accepted cookies, please follow the instructions below under 'How to manage cookies'.
Please note that if you choose to disable cookies, certain areas of our website may not function properly.
